Workshop Description

The most important responsibilities of the project manager are planning, executing plans, and project control. Project planning involves establishing what needs to be done, by whom, and when in order to achieve the project objectives. It involves establishing tasks, budgets, schedules, and other activities that are required to reach the project goal within the established project constraints. The planning framework requires defining all the work that is required and ensuring it is completely understood  and agreed on by the project stakeholders. The output of the planning process is the project plan which is used as the baseline to implement the work, monitor progress, and control the project.

This workshop provides effective planning techniques that experienced project managers use to define project requirements, create work breakdown structures, establish effective implementation plans, and design project control strategies. Participants are provided with the theory and practical examples of these techniques. Workshop exercises are also provided to enhance learning and provide immediate experience to enhance your project management capabilities.
