Workshop Description
Managing risks is recognized as an important element of effective project management.
Properly managing risk enhances your probability of achieving your project goals
and ensures a smoother implementation. The risk management process involves identifying
potential risks on your projects, assessing the impact of these risk events, establishing
risk response strategies, and when required implementing risk responses. Risk must be
evaluated at the project initiation and re evaluated at every stage of the project to
ensure the risks are properly monitored and controlled.
Participants receive in-depth instruction on risk management principles, methodologies,
and procedures, along with effective strategies to monitor and control the risks at every
stage of the project. They learn the process of creating realistic risk management plans
that ensure efficient use of resources and avoid reactive responses which impact project
performance.
The complete risk management process, based on the Project Management Institute
(PMI), is presented with the theory and practical examples of each of these
techniques. Workshop exercises are also provided to enhance learning and provide immediate
experience to enhance your project management capabilities.
